RUN IOM - Begin to Run - Just for fun! Monday & Friday lunchtime normally 12:10. The group alternate between Douglas Prom and NSC with occasional sessions on the 'Gas Work' steps and at the Grandstand. The sessions are for all abilities and could also accommodate walkers. The precise session venue and time are posted on their Facebook page.

Western Running Club, Peel: 6.25pm. Western Running Club (who have a facebook page) operate running groups on a Monday and Wednesday evening. The Monday running group is split into groups and so is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already run. This group at the moment meet at 6.25pm on a Monday on the harbour side of the House of Mannanan. The Wednesday group at the moment meet at 6.15pm in the car park at the House of Mannanan and is suitable for anyone who can run 5 miles or more. We will shortly be moving our meeting place for both to QE2 High School as the nights get darker and so anyone who is interested should join the Facebook page or get in touch with Barry on 456108 before coming. We do not charge for these sessions but we do ask that people consider making a donation of £1 per run which we pay to charity but this is not compulsory.

Manx fell Runners: 5.15pm. In summer/autumn this is at the Arboretum in St Johns but it switches to Peel when the nights draw in. The sessions are speed/interval sessions and suitable for all including juniors. Contact Maggie Lockley on 333383.
Manx fell Runners: 6.30pm. Meet at the TT Grandstand warmed up and ready to go. These sessions are speed/interval sessions and suitable for all levels. Contact Colin Moore on 326202.
TEA multisports (the TEA/CAKES): Interval sessions for those already running 5k+ regularly at 7.30pm. Various venues in the south of the island. Coach Maggie Watkins. £3/session or £25/10 sessions. Weekly updates on facebook. Restarting Tuesday 8th January 2017.

NB (U16’s welcome, for safety reasons parental consent is required as the sessions will be on open roads and in the dark during winter). For more information see the NAC website.
